Terms of Service

QuickReceipt is a mobile receipt creation tool for two modes of use:

• Rideshare — create professional trip receipts with ride receipt IDs (RD-MMDD-XXX), fare, tip, tolls, tax, card fee, passenger info, reports, statements, and expense records

• Business / Small Business — create sales receipts with business receipt IDs (INV-MMDD-XXX), customer info, description, itemized charges, tax, card fee, reports, statements, and expense records

QuickReceipt is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any rideshare platform (Uber, Lyft, etc.), payment processor, government authority, or other company.

By downloading or using QuickReceipt, you agree to these Terms of Service and to use the App only for lawful purposes and to provide truthful, accurate information.

You are solely responsible for all information entered into the App, including names, dates, amounts, addresses, transaction details, and any business or trip information.

You agree not to use QuickReceipt to:

• Create false, misleading, or fraudulent receipts

• Impersonate a business, driver, or individual

• Submit false insurance claims, expense reports, or disputes

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

• Engage in any unlawful or harmful activity

Ride receipt IDs (RD-MMDD-XXX) for rideshare and business receipt IDs (INV-MMDD-XXX) for business are generated automatically and sequentially by the App.

These IDs are for your organizational convenience only. We do not guarantee their uniqueness across devices or their acceptance by any third party as an official document reference number.

QuickReceipt is a document creation tool only. It does not provide legal, tax, accounting, or financial advice.

Tax calculations (where applicable) are estimates based on rates you enter. You are responsible for verifying applicable tax rates and ensuring compliance with all tax laws.

We do not guarantee that receipts generated by the App will be accepted by any third party, including businesses, payment platforms, insurance companies, or government authorities.

• User-created app data is stored locally on your device — we do not maintain a cloud database or QuickReceipt-operated backup service

• Apple or Google operating-system backup and device-transfer services may process eligible app data when enabled; Android cloud backup is limited to the structured local database, while supported device-to-device transfer and Apple backups may also carry app-owned logo and expense-photo files

• The App includes an optional local backup export feature (Settings → Data & Backup) — we strongly recommend exporting a backup regularly

• Restoring a backup replaces current local app data with the contents of the selected backup file

• Backup files are unencrypted JSON and do not include local image files such as company logos or expense receipt photos

• We do not guarantee recovery of data that has not been backed up

• We cannot confirm or guarantee operating-system backup or restore; data may be permanently lost if the App is deleted or the device is reset without a usable backup

• You are responsible for securing your device and any backup files you export

• Subscription status, purchase records, refunds, cancellations, and platform billing history are managed by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat, not by local backup files

The App enables sharing receipts, sales, expense records, reports, statements, images, PDFs, and backup files via SMS, email (PDF), clipboard copy, image save to camera roll, and file export.

You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of all receipt information before sharing and for ensuring recipient details are correct.

Sharing, email, SMS, address suggestions, and purchases depend on your device, your network, and external services (such as your messaging or email provider, Apple, Google, RevenueCat, and Photon). We are not responsible for delivery failures, third-party service interruptions or availability, or how recipients use or act upon the receipts you share.

QuickReceipt Pro unlocks additional features including unlimited full-access receipts, unlimited saved contacts, PDF export, email sending, image saving, report exports, company logo, premium receipt templates, and QuickReceipt branding removal from PDF, preview, image, and report outputs.

• Payments are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store

• Subscription management uses RevenueCat

• Billing, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are governed entirely by the platform (Apple or Google) through which you subscribed

• We do not issue refunds directly — contact Apple or Google support for billing inquiries

All app content, design, branding, receipt templates, PDF layouts, and software code are owned by wpggLabs or licensed to us.

You may not copy, modify, resell, sublicense, or reverse engineer any part of the App.

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of defects. We make no guarantee that receipt calculations, tax estimates, or formatting will meet any particular standard or regulatory requirement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, wpggLabs is not liable for any loss of data, financial loss, business loss, loss of income, or indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if these Terms are violated or the App is used in an unlawful manner.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, unless another law applies by requirement.

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
